1.) Tie in belly hair. Loop hair around thread to lock hair down.

2.) Tie in mid-section on top of hook.

3.) Top hair should be slightly longer than bottom hair and spare enough to see hook shank.

4.) Tie in lateral lines on each side. Loop one strand of flashabou around thread to lock down.

5.) For Elk Creek shiner add Olive back. For Emerald Shiner, add a few strands of Light Blue and then Olive.

6.) Whip finish

7.) Ready to add eyes. A toothpick works great!

8.) Place an eye on each side.

9.) Build head with light cured, or 5 minute epoxy.

10.) A toothpick helps to build uniform head as you rotate vice.

11.) Cure epoxy.
